Who doesn’t love dessert? October 14 is National Dessert Day and in honor of it, I am posting a few of my favorite dessert recipes. I can’t help it, chocolate makes me happy and that’s what this blog is supposed to be about…things that make us happy.  In honor of National Dessert Day, I am sharing a few of my favorite desserts. I found many of these on Pinterest. If you don’t have time to make something sweet, it’s okay, I have a list below of places offers discounts.

This recipe is fast, easy, and delicious. It is a dressed-up version of one I have made for years. Use your microwave! And it’s so pretty too.

I found this recipe back in August on National Smores Day. We tried a couple of recipes that night, but these were by far the best. Of course, with two jars of marshmallow fluff and seven Hershey bars, you’d better make sure you have plenty of milk to go with them.

For those of you who want something other than chocolate…You’re welcome. I LOVE these lemon brownies. They are sort of a cross between the old-fashioned lemon bars my grandmother used to make and a brownie. If I had to choose between chocolate or lemon, I couldn’t!

My husband traveled to Germany earlier this year to visit his extended family. They ate Nutella every day. He brought back the biggest jar I had ever seen to share with us. Nutella Bread is just one of the fantastic recipes you can make with it.

No delicious dessert list would be complete without an easy, slow cooker version. If lemon and chocolate aren’t for you, be sure to try this delicious berry cobbler recipe. Set it in the morning and have it warm after dinner. Try changing up the types of berries you use. It is so good!
