I love books. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. There are currently more than 10 books waiting for me on my nightstand. My mother is not a book lover like me. I got that trait from my dad. Thanks Dad!  It’s probably not a big surprise that I also love words, quotes, and sayings. In fact, I collect them. Check out my Pinterest quote boards here.

I’m also a mom. Sometimes being Mom is a hard job and I look for inspiration and motivation. Motivation, inspiration, collecting quotes…can you see where I’m going with this? Since motherhood touches every human on the planet, it has been written about a lot. After all, most stories are written about some aspect of the human condition and the human condition is pretty reliant on mothers. What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to share some great literary quotes about mothers?
