11 Chocolate Quotes in Honor of World Chocolate Day

Happy World Chocolate Day! If you’re like me, you don’t really need an excuse to have a good piece of chocolate, but isn’t it nice to know you have a special day to celebrate?  I wish I could tell you about some wonderful deal on chocolate, but it looks like those are reserved for National Chocolate Day in October.  There’s also International Chocolate Day, two of them actually, in September and December and Bittersweet Chocolate Day in January.

Most of those chocolate holidays are when the weather turns cooler. Sure, your chocolate is more like to melt in July, but that’s no excuse for not eating it. After all, you can just eat it a little faster. Or, better yet, eat it in ice cream form. See my family’s ice cream taste test here. I suspect that someone declared a chocolate holiday in July because they couldn’t wait so long for the next one.

Whatever the reason, I have found 11 of my favorite chocolate quotes to share with you today. I hope you have a wonderful World Chocolate Day celebration.
